Our Banking & Insolvency Practice advises banks, financial institutions, individuals and corporate entities in a wide range of contentious matters, both in Singapore and in the Asia-Pacific region.

We have significant experience in all types of banking litigation, ranging from securities recovery & trade finance disputes to restitutionary claims. Our expertise in debt recovery further complements our extensive experience in a full range of corporate insolvency matters, including restructuring, rescue schemes and work-outs. We have been involved in most major and complex insolvency disputes in Singapore.

We also advise various distressed individual debtors and companies (including listed companies) and their directors, on practical and commercial strategies of managing their exposure to insolvency administration and in effecting successful rescue attempts. We have a close relationship with the major accounting firms and often advise them in their various capacities as scheme managers, special financial advisers, receivers, judicial managers and liquidators. We also receive instructions to assist special accountants and court appointed officers in investigative audits in several high profile fraud and insolvency-related cases.
