Our award-winning Infrastructure, Projects & Construction Practice is widely regarded as a market leader, and is involved in most of the major construction projects and disputes in Singapore. The Practice is actively involved in both contentious and non-contentious work, acting as counsel on major arbitrations and High Court cases and advising clients on all aspects of construction work and documentation from inception to delivery.

Our Practice has consistently been top ranked by The Asia Pacific Legal 500 - The Guide to Asia's Commercial Law Firms. Wong Meng Meng, Senior Counsel has extensive experience in this Practice and was the only lawyer on the Building and Construction Authority Working Committee, which was responsible for drafting the Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract for government and statutory boards. Tan Chee Meng, Senior Counsel has an engineering background and was the first specialist judge appointed in Singapore under a scheme where senior lawyers are invited to lend their expertise to the Subordinate Courts. Chee Meng, Meng Meng and Christopher Chuah are accredited adjudicators appointed under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2004.

The Infrastructure, Projects & Construction Practice has expanded its networking and business capabilities regionally. We have advised clients on disputes involving projects in China, India, the Middle East and Indonesia, amongst others. We are also involved in advising investors from large consortia to individual corporations on transactions in China, India and the Middle East. In conjunction with Sweet & Maxwell Asia, we have also released the Annotated Guide to the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2004 and the Annotated Guide to the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act in 2005.
