WongPartnership LLP's Competition Practice is at the forefront of developments in this area of law. Our Competition Practice comprises partners and associates from various disciplines who provide our diverse client base with specialised and thorough guidance on all issues relating to competition and regulatory law. The Practice's expertise has also been enhanced by the appointment of a member of the Firm, by the Ministry of Trade and Industry to the Competition Appeal Board.

Our lawyers regularly provide strategic advice and creative solutions on a range of matters under the Competition Act 2004 including advice on merger control, restrictive practices, intellectual property issues and compliance programmes. We also have significant experience in sectoral competition laws, particularly with respect to the telecommunication and the broadcasting industries. Our active participation in cross-border M&A transactions has also helped us to increase our familiarity with antitrust laws across Asia and to develop a growing practice in coordinating merger control filings in Asia for multi-jurisdictional mergers. As leaders in the field, the Practice has provided feedback to the Competition Commission of Singapore and the Media Development Authority of Singapore in the development of their respective antitrust regulations.
