Our Banking & Finance Practice offers the full range of banking and financial legal services. These include structuring loan transactions and debt issues, compliance advice, project finance, both in Singapore as well as overseas, and mergers & acquisitions of banks.

We advise domestic and international banks, financial institutions and corporates on a wide variety of loans and other debt-related instruments and transactions, locally and internationally. Our work includes bilateral, club and syndicated loans; acquisition finance, project finance, trade finance, construction finance, asset and asset-backed financing, financing relating to take-over offers and other types of financing for hotels, property developments, semiconductor plants and other businesses, mergers & acquisitions of banks and financial institutions; sale and purchase of, and participation in loans; security structure and types, legal compliance, approval, registration and enforcement of loans and security; review and drafting of bank standard documentation. We also render regulatory advice, including advice on the setting up of foreign bank branches in Singapore, duties, taxation and foreign exchange control regulations.
