PONG Chen Yih is a Partner in the Equity Capital Markets Practice.

His main areas of practice are corporate finance, capital market transactions such as initial public offerings, share placements, rights issue and other transactional and advisory matters involving listed companies.

Chen Yih has been involved in a number of initial public offerings on the Singapore Exchange (SGX), including Ascendas India Trust - Singapore's first listed Indian property trust; Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) Ltd - the largest IPO from China to ever list on the SGX, and the largest offering in 2007; Pacific Shipping Trust - first business trust listed on the SGX; and CapitaRetail China Trust - the first pure-play China retail REIT in Singapore.

Chen Yih graduated from the National University of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar.
