Linda WEE is a Partner in the Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Her main areas of practice encompass mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and commercial work, corporate governance and compliance.

Transactions of significance which Linda has been involved in include acting for Kookmin Bank in relation to the sale of shares in Sorak Financial Holdings Pte Ltd by Fullerton Financial Holdings Pte Ltd and Kookmin Bank to Maybank; George Street Pte. Ltd. (an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of CapitaLand Limited) in the proposed divestment of 1 George Street, Singapore, a 23-storey Grade A commercial building, to CapitaCommercial Trust for S$1.165 billion; the selling shareholders in a voluntary unconditional cash offer by Al-Futtaim Group for all the shares in Robinson & Co Limited; Want Want International Limited in the offeror's delisting proposal and exit offer for the remaining shares in Want Want Holdings Ltd for S$850 million; Pan United Marine Ltd in the voluntary general offer made by Dubai Drydocks for all the shares of Pan United Marine Ltd; CapitaLand (Office) Investments Pte Ltd ("COI") in the purchase of Eureka Gmbh's entire shareholding interests in Eureka Office Fund Pte Ltd (in which COI already had a 50 percent stake), for S$590.6 million (subject to post-closing adjustments), making Eureka Office Fund Pte Ltd its wholly-owned subsidiary; Nera Electronics Ltd ("NEL") in the mandatory unconditional cash offer by NE Holdings Limited for its issued shares, following the acquisition by NE Holdings Limited of a 68.27 percent stake in NEL; and acting as Singapore counsel advising on Singapore law aspects for various cross-border transactions, including for a syndicate of investors injecting US$620 million to start up ACR Capital Holdings Pte. Ltd., to form the first independent Pan-Asian reinsurer Asia Capital Reinsurance Group Pte. Ltd.

Linda has also had significant experience in the field of civil litigation and advising on corporate, commercial and shareholder disputes.

Linda graduated from the National University of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar.
