Jessica FEI is a Senior Legal Consultant in the Firm’s China Practice.

Her main practice areas are international litigation and arbitration, international trade & investments, employment, construction & civil engineering and intellectual property. 

Before joining WongPartnership, Jessica practised in a top international law firm, in its Litigation group. Jessica represented or assisted several multi-national corporations, foreign and Chinese companies in court litigations, arbitrations and criminal investigations in China and in overseas litigation or investigation, as well as other dispute-related matters covering international sale of goods contract, investment, employment, share transfer and disposal, economic fraud, construction management, debt collection, IP infringement, bankruptcy etc.

Jessica also worked for the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission ("CIETAC"), the leading international arbitration organisation in China and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution of the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") for eight years. She has been involved in international arbitrations of various nature, including cross-border trade, foreign direct investment, construction, employment, securities, and IP rights. Jessica is familiar with arbitration proceedings before the ICC International Court of Arbitration and the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

Matters of significance Jessica has been involved in include acting for a Chinese-invested Texas energy company in an arbitration before AAA concerning a US$80 million petroleum exploration and production project, a Chinese company against a US company in ICC arbitration concerning an exclusive distributorship agreement and IP rights, a well-known Korean company in arbitrations before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) concerning disputes involving large-scale construction projects in China, a Chinese company in an arbitration before the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce concerning quality claims over machinery, a Swiss trading company in CIETAC arbitrations claiming damages for breach of contract, and an Australian company in an arbitration before CIETAC claiming damages for non-performance of an international sales contract by a Chinese company.

Jessica is listed on the Panel of Arbitrators of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) of the AAA, Xiamen Arbitration Commission and Wuhan Arbitration Commission, member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London) and the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (Singapore), listed ADR Counsel and member of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR, New York), and a member of AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).
