CHONG Hong Chiang is a Partner in the Equity Capital Markets Practice.

Her main practice areas are capital markets transactions, initial public offerings, placements and rights issues. 

Transactions of significance which Hong Chiang has been involved in include acting for Fujian Zhenyun Plastics Industry Co., Ltd in its initial offering of 35,000,000 New S Shares which raised gross proceeds of approximately S$21.7 million (net proceeds of approximately S$17.4 million). This was the 3rd "S" share listing in Singapore at the time of listing, J.P. Morgan (S.E.A.) Limited, Citigroup Global Markets Singapore Pte. Ltd. and DBS Bank Limited as Joint Underwriters and Bookrunners in the initial public offering of shares in Ascendas India Trust ("a-iTrust"), Singapore's first listed Indian property trust, comprising an international placement under Regulation S, which raised gross proceeds of approximately S$549.5 million, and Ascott Residence Trust Management Limited, the manager of Ascott Residence Trust in the offer and placement of approximately 105 million new units in Ascott Residence Trust.

Other transactions include acting for Chemoil Energy Limited in its initial public offering of 224,803,000 shares (comprising a Regulation S and Rule 144A international offerings), which raised gross proceeds of approximately US$101.2 million, Macquarie Securities (Singapore) Pte Limited, DBS Bank Ltd and UBS AG, acting through its business group UBS Investment Bank in the secondary offering of new shares in Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund Limited to retail, institutional and other investors to raise an aggregate of S$435 million, and the Joint Lead Managers, Underwriters and Bookrunners, DBS Bank Ltd, Macquarie Securities (Singapore) Pte Limited and UBS AG acting through its business group, UBS Investment Bank in the Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund Limited, the first infrastructure fund to be listed in Singapore with gross proceeds of approximately S$502.55 million.

Hong Chiang graduated from the National University of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar.
