Quak Fi Ling is a Partner in the Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions Practice.

Her main practice areas are mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and commercial work.

Transactions of significance which Fi Ling has been involved in include acting for the Parkway Group in the disposal of three properties (namely, The Mount Elizabeth Hospital Property, The Gleneagles Hospital Property and The East Shore Hospital Property) to a real estate investment trust named "Parkway Life REIT" whose establishment was sponsored by Parkway Group, for approximately S$774.6 million; and Standard Chartered Private Equity Limited and CVC Asia Pacific Limited in the successful takeover of Amtek Engineering Ltd by a consortium led by Standard Chartered Private Equity Limited and two funds advised by CVC Asia Pacific Limited, with a transaction value of  approximately S$552 million. She also acted for Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. ("KKR") and Precision Capital Pte Ltd in the acquisition of the Singapore Mainboard-listed precision engineering group, MMI Holdings Limited, through a scheme of arrangement. This transaction is KKR's first public deal in Singapore and is valued at approximately S$1.1 billion.  She also advised the major shareholder of Landwind Medical Holdings Limited in forming a consortium with Citigroup Venture Capital international Growth Partnership and Citigroup Venture Capital International Co-Investment, L.P. to make a voluntary conditional cash offer of approximately US$ 102.08 million for all the issued ordinary shares in Landwind Medical Holdings Limited.

Fi Ling graduated from the National University of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar.
