Dilhan Pillay SANDRASEGARA is the Managing Partner of WongPartnership LLP.

His main areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law.

Dilhan’s M&A experience covers both public and private transactions. He has been involved in M&A transactions in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, PRC, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and New Zealand. He is also an adviser to boards of publicly listed companies in Singapore on corporate governance issues.

Dilhan graduated from the National University of Singapore and attended the University of Cambridge on a Cambridge ODA Scholarship, where he obtained a Master of Law. He is admitted to the Singapore Bar and was also admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales. He was the Vice Chairman of the Corporate Practice Committee of the Law Society of Singapore from 2000 to 2004. He was appointed amicus curiae by the High Court of Singapore in an action in Singapore in 2005 relating to allegations of minority oppression in a publicly listed company on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.

Dilhan is a speaker at major law conferences in Singapore and overseas where he speaks on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance issues.

He also serves as a member of the Resource Panel of the Singapore Government Parliamentary Committee on Home Affairs and Law, the Steering Committee for Review of the Companies Act appointed by the Minister of Finance to undertake a complete review of the Singapore Companies Act and the Design Committee for the Corporatisation of Changi Airport and Restructuring of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
