LONG Chee Shan is a Partner in the Equity Capital Markets Practice.

His main practice areas are fund raising, capital markets transactions and general corporate law.

Chee Shan has been involved in a number of initial public offerings on the Singapore Exchange, including Babcock & Brown Global Investments Limited (formerly known as Babcock & Brown Structured Finance Fund Limited), a mutual fund company which invests in operating lease, loan portfolio and securitisation and alternative assets; Parkway Life REIT, a healthcare REIT in Singapore; CapitaRetail China Trust, the first pure-play China retail REIT in Singapore; PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk, a provider of seaborne transportation also listed in Indonesia; Straits Asia Resources Limited, a resource development and mining group in the Asia Pacific region; Ascott Residence Trust, the first Pan-Asian serviced residence REIT; and Macquarie MEAG Prime REIT, which holds the Wisma Atria and Ngee Ann City properties in Singapore.

Chee Shan graduated from the National University of Singapore and is admitted to the Singapore Bar.
